The Wanders family of Elten, Germany, has been making chocolate confections since 1726. Continuing the tradition, descendant Wilhelm Wanders and his wife, Melanie, who live in Bristow, have started a candy business they call Chocolaterie Wanders.
Those who like strong flavors will appreciate the Earl Grey tea dark chocolate, flavored with local wildflower honey. Our favorite may be the creamy milk chocolate ganache with a hint of cinnamon.
